Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween

Halloween has always been a fun holiday for us.

Our first Halloween as a family was in Oct. 2002. We dressed Emily up in a pumpkin outfit and went around to saying "Hi" to the neighbors. We took pictures of her in her costume.

In 2003, we were "cats" and met with the local moms group for a Halloween party.

Amanda was born in 2004, and of course we saved the costumes from previous years. She was a pumpkin for her first Halloween too.

The following years, our girls have been princesses and "Dora".

It's so much fun to see them in their costumes and playing with the idea of characters. It's a way we can all play in different roles.

This year it's probably going to be "Dora" and maybe a pirate or spiderman. We'll see. Of course we'll have the camera to take pictures.

Enjoy the moments that these holidays bring.

Feature Art/product

"Diva"

This is a portrait of "Diva". Diva was owned by Amanda, one of the students at Haskins Farm. I knew her and her grandparents who came often to the barn. As a gift from her grandparents I was commissioned to make a portrait of Diva and transfer it onto a T-shirt. When finished, I gave it to her grandparents who presented it to her. She loved it.

For me, it's wonderful to share my work with others.

"REFLECTIONS"
the third in a series of virtual Art Shows by the members of the Equine Art Guild
The Equine Art Guild is proud to showcase this special 10th Anniversary Virtual Art Show for members of the Equine Art Guild.

In our spirit of equality and comraderie, we have helped each other grow in our artistic skills over the years. This online exhibit showcases our proud achievements that we have accomplished through our association with the Equine Art Guild. Each artist was asked to submit a piece they created before they joined the EAG as well as a current piece to be able to reflect back on our growth over the past ten years.
