Blessings and prayers

It is a hard week for many hundreds,thousands of people. The devastation of Katrina is mammoth.
I find myself sad, and praying for those who are in so much Need.

I've never been to New Orleans, but have seen photos and heard about it's many cultures, and
how beautiful a city. A place of romantic corners: Jazz bands, Beautiful french quarters, marti
gar. So colorful, and rich.
...and now it's torn apart by water and wind.
So fleeting are our moments, thoughts, and memories.

But we must have the faith and strength to over come and Rebuilt.

We, Humans, have that special something to continue on.
I admire nature for both the beauty(at it's best) and the Fury(the worst). We have a part in Nature
and that is to Continue On. We can't control everything that comes are way, but we can do our best
and move Forward and rebuild anew.

As a member of MOMs club of Lincoln, RI ( a chapter of MOMS club International),We're in the works to raise funds for this effort.
And so are the many chapters through the US. Moms helping Moms are pulling together to help others through this very tough
time.
As a group we can achieve a lot.
