Happy Holidays
As I do every year, I created a holiday card. Using MSPublisher I layout and print the card. Print labels and then mail the cards out to family and friends. People I know I'll be seeing, I put the card in with their gift.
This year's card features my older daughter,Emily.
Holiday card2004
She's 2 1/2 now. (time flies...sniff) I remember when she was so small. She's now a toddler running around and such. She's also a big sister. Her younger sister,Amanda is 8 mos. and has inherited dad's bright red hair. I'm sure to make a portrait of her at some point. Perhaps even both of them together. They get along ok, and get silly sometimes.
The busy holiday season is in full swing. Our family has a mix of jewish and christian relatives. So it means we celebrate two holidays close together. This year we're trying to watch what we spend on gifts. We decided on a rough amount to spend on each. Sometimes I think Thanksgiving is so easy, just cooking up a bunch of great dishes.
One way we decided to unstress ourselves is by shopping online. You can browse with out the crowd. I usually end up at Amazon.com, yet there are other places.
Mommyclassifieds: one of WAHM's pages has a Paypal Holiday page where you can shop showcased products from different work-at-home business.
then there's Ebay.
I found a new auction site sort of like Ebay but has different features.
ioffer.com:
one of their features is a negotiation section.
May the joy of the holidays come through. Lighting the hanukah candles, I remember not only why we celebrate the miracle but that the light shines bright and warm in this cold, wintery season.
